Activities

To finish this patch, you will have to complete three or more activities. We came up with a list of fun things you can do to complete this section.

Food on a Plate

Imagine you were fasting for a day, what would you want on your plate when you break your fast? For this activity, you will use the plate printout and draw or cut out images of what you would have on your plate when you break your fast.

A plate and fork and knives with the words "What would you have on your plate for Iftaar?"

Try to Fast

In this activity, you can try and fast! Instead of fasting for a whole day, you can try fasting based on your Girl Scout level:

  • Daisy: 2 hrs (no food, but can have water)
  • Brownie: 3 hrs (no food, but can have water)
  • Juniors: 4hrs (no food or water)
  • Cadettes and above: 5 hrs (no food or water)

Pro Tip: Have a big meal before you fast!

Gratitude List

In this activity you will print out a template and fill it out with five (or more!) things you are grateful for! It can be little things like a comfy blanket or big things like your dog.
